I've noticed (not only in this version, but also before) that the info window of all touristic buildings (aka atractions?) show passenger success = 0% no matter if they are transported or not. Could this be a bug?

Also, I would suggest to add a limitation to the number of stop info lines shown in any building's detail window; that is because, if you use a very high value for station coverage (as suggested for taking advantage of the passenger walking features), then you will probably have a huge number of stations in the coverage area for that building. Probably the two or three closest stops will show the information that one wants to get, so a limit of 5 could be nice.

The success rate code is currently only partially implemented; it only measures the success of passengers generated at the building in question. Since tourist attractions do not generate passengers, they do not register a success rate. This anomaly is due to be remedied in the next major release.

As to the limitation of the number of lines, etc., I think that it may be best to wait until the major GUI overhaul currently under-way in Standard is finished before dealing with GUI issues. This problem needs a more elegant solution than simply not showing some stops (which would be extremely confusing to players), and how best to do it is likely to change when the GUI overhaul is complete.

Thanks for the explanations, James.

Just a question related to your answer: if attractions don't generate pax, do they receive them only? Res/Com/Ind buildings do only generate, or generate and receive? Factories are like attractions? Sorry if this is off topic.

In Standard and the current release versions of Experimental, attractions and industries receive but do not generate passengers, whereas all city buildings both generate and receive passengers.

In the next major release of Experimental (from work on the passenger-generation branch on Github), with the exception of onward and return trips, only residential buildings will generate passengers, and all other buildings will receive them (residential buildings will also receive some passengers, but not very many).

Actually, not ALL tourist buildings have 0 success rate in current version. Usually, some buildings in the largest city have non-0 values. The easiest way to find them is to select 'hide all buildings' and 'hidden appear transparent'. Those attractions will have a distinct color.
On the other hand, Jamespetts says it is not intended  ;)
