Tram and road signals.

Tram track allows two different way types to coexist in the same tile, at the same altitude, going in the same direction. As a result, you can have a road with tram track in it that has both road signals and tram signals. With such a set-up, do road vehicles pay any attention to tram signals? Do Trams pay any attention to road signals?

No. Cars obey only road signals, and trams obey only tram (train) signals.

In essence, rail and road vehicles live in separate universes. The only place their universes interact is at level crossings.
