Hi. (´・ω・`)

Why do some labels show the population change divided by 10? It is weird and inconsistent with the chart value and confuses the player.

I'm currently trying to tweak this dialog, so I'll fix it if there's no good reason.

I noticed the difference between the displayed contents of standard and extended.
Standard displays the value which is 1/10 of the average of this month and the previous month. I think it's make sense.
Extended displays the value that is 1/10 of the increase in this month. IMO, this month's growth is not very useful data. In most cases, it shows 0, and there is a large variation depending on whether renovation happens by chance. Most cities will show 0 at the beginning of the month as it will be reset at the beginning of the month. The population of simutrans is more stable than in the real world because simutrans does not simulate human life and death or migration.

Thank you for asking about this. I do not believe that I have changed this in Extended, so I suspect that this is something that changed in Standard after Extended diverged from it. The behaviour that you describe in the first post is not intended.

I check with the standard, the standard shows the average value of 2 months divided by 10, and it behaves differently from extended.
Extended shows the fluctuation value for this month, but this is often reset to the beginning of the month and shows 0. Therefore, I think it is not the best way to understand if the population of a city is on the rise or not.

Anyway, I am working on fixing them now.

That is very helpful, thank you.
