View transition when you put a factory

When you put a factory using the factory building tool, view of all players moves to the newly placed factory. This causes sudden view transition for all players in network games when one player puts a factory. Thus, I think this view transition should be abandoned. Is there anyone who knows why this feature was implemented?

Agree, this is annoying. Even for the player placing the factory

When you build a city chain, the factory may be well constructed outside your field of view. So it may be helpful for city factory. But you are right, it should not do anything in network games.

Removing this feature itself is not so difficult. Deleting simtool.cc:5677 is enough.
