.. and probably never worked. The variable current_sort_mode (introduced 7 years ago) has never changed value since then :)
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and maggikraut.

In the new list this is known, as it is not fully finished. The combobox is rather a wish list.

EDIT r9397 should be workiung better
