ello everyone,
I'm slowly translating pak 128german in italian to integrate it with a multipak that I'm setting (128 + 128german + 128 britain + 128japan + various addons) I hope to be able to integrate everything with your consent, for the moment I have called it pak + BGJ as I have seen in some Japanese YouTube videos, you can contact me for suggestions or help
thanks to all and good road

Thanks Makie,
I read the rules well, I hope I have not already messed up, I take care of everything and I try to move on.
I merged the three paks into one: 128 - 128german - 128 britain and 128japan plus various addons taken from japan-addons, for my delight and called it pak + BGJ, how can I merge the translations into one file and eliminate duplication since I get this error:
"Error: Double objects in main pak directory
In pak 128 + BGJ / contains the following objects more than once
building :: 1920_AirDepot
etc ...
etc .. "
I would like to be able to unify the necessary files but I don't know how

good day to you and he whole community

1. You can "merge" entries from different paks simply by eliminating each repeated entry and leaving no more than one of each in the "combined" translation .tab file for the "combined" pakset.
2. To "unify" objects from different paksets is the question beyond translations of each of them, but currently the situation in the 'combined" may be that there are two object files with the same name, ex:
and ex. with the same image but different parameters. I can think of different solutions from renaming to reasoned deletion but simply unifying them would mean making them more left of more right if you can't go both directions at one time. Simply because some object parameters may exclude each other.

QuoteI merged the three paks into one: 128 - 128german - 128 britain and 128japan plus various addons taken from japan-addons,
The Paks are not designed to put it together. You get a mess if you do it.
Quotehow can I merge the translations into one file
You can copy the translations (the file it.tab) together with a text editor. Just append the text.
Or you can rename the files "it.tab" --> "it1.tab" .... "it2.tab" and so on.

This is a problem with the .pak files, not with the translations.

I suggest: take a look on the sources of the pak and learn to create a pakset.
Sources pak128:

The other Sources also found there.

Your translation to Italy is welcome and helpful for the community.

Good luck for your project "pak + BGJ". I think it is nearly impossible to merge all this paks together to a playable game.
