Can't get moving block to work

I'm experimenting with Maglev lines and so far I have set up a simple loop with two stations. There are one-way signs (not sure if I need them) and I have figured out how to use cab signalling (it's simple enough,it seems). But to get the full speed out of a maglev train I need moving blocks and there I fail completely. I set up a signal (or many signals using drag & drop) on the left of the track and an ERMTS signal centre but the train just ignores them and continues with drive-by-sight. Is there some sort of tutorial anywhere? And what's the blue reservation?

Oh, and I guess if the yellow double beacon is a choose signal, it should be renamed as such.

I found the problem: maglev beacon distances are set to 0 instead of 2000 as they are for normal trains - so they will never be within an acceptable distance of each other. I don't know whether they were supposed to be set at 2000 or were meant to be unlimited.

Thanks. I saw the 0, but I thought it meant unlimited. Time for a bug report?
