Hi,

Question on how many products are produced with which amount of input.

I have a printing works :
Max production : Books 1092 units per month
Input Paper 110%
     Printers Ink 20%

=> To produce the 1092 units you need 1201 (110% of 1092) units of paper and 218 (20% of 1092) units of ink per month.

But now :
Chemical plant
Max production : 1752 units per month.
Output : Chemicals 60%
         Ink 30%
Input Oil 300%

Is this then : from 5256 (300% of 1752) Oil, I get 1051 (60% of 1752) of chemicals and 525 (30% of 1752) of Ink per month.

makie

This depends on if you use "just in time = 1" or "Just in time = 2" and if you have consumer for Chemicals or not.
For Just_in_time=2 all Oil where converted to Ink if there is no consumer for Chemicals
For Just_in_time=1 example 300 Oil -> 300% Input = 100 Oil give 30% Output = 30 Ink. The 60 Chemicals thrown away if store is full.

in my opinion something illogical  :-[
