Build Industries

First up, great game that has ruined my sleep habits, job and relationships. Keep it up.

On another note;
I have been developing some industry chains using the "Build Industries" function in the public player menu.

Within the industry builder menu is a value selector "production". The help menu says that this is to adjust the units produced/consumed by the industry, however when I change this, it makes no difference to the output of the industry. Doubled, halfed or random number, the production/consumption appears to be generated randomly

Is there something I need to do to make this function work?
