In Windows versions I can scroll the main map of the game:
  • moving the mouse with right button pressed
  • moving the mouse with left button pressed
  • with many shortcut keys
In Linux I find it possible only with keybooard shortcuts. Has scrolling ever been possible with mouse in Linux?

You mean the minimap?

This has been broken for a while, look here: https://forum.simutrans.com/index.php/topic,21953.0.html

I can only say that in version 123-0-1 of simutrans there don't seem to be any problems.

No, no I don't mean the mini map. I mean the main game window. Has scrolling ever been possible with mouse in Linux?

Roboron

I can definitely scroll in Linux with both the right click and the left click.

Thanks all. IMO the above confirms I have some (SDL?) packages missing or outdated version on the machine in question (121.1 (r8870 ))
