English Tutorial Proofreading

I have been trying out the pak128 English-language tutorial and I like it very much.

It's a great introduction to Simutrans for new players.

However, I noticed that there were some places where the English in the tutorial did not quite feel right.

I must emphasize: I ALWAYS understood the meaning of the tutorial. It is a good tutorial!

However, some places have unusual grammar. Some sentences were written differently from the way that an educated American or British person might write them. I am not worried about those differences; I love the fact that Simutrans is an international project. However, some people in English-speaking countries might think it looked 'unprofessional'. Perhaps we can make a good tutorial even better?

So I have made a pull request with some small changes to the language. I hope that they will make the tutorial look more 'professional', but I have also tried to keep the language simple and clear. We want everybody, including people reading English as a second or other language, to understand easily.

If you think this is a helpful contribution, then I can proofread more chapters. If you think the changes are not helpful or make it harder for you to read this chapter, then that is OK too.

Thank you for explaining that, makie! I have proof-read Chapters 2 and 3 and uploaded the changes to SimuTranslator. Hopefully more will follow.
