I thought the Empire F7 could have some cars. When we have the two ends of a train, why put nothing in-between?

The cars are introduced in March 1941, one and a half years after the Empire F7 itself.

Due to the lack of possibility to modify the constraints of the pak64's Empire F7 (back), I had to duplicate it to have a back engine. You may not need it, though - it is only useful for long trains.

Also, yes, I know - North- and West-facing engines look a bit off. I did not redo their graphics.

Life is like a multi-tasking OS: you know you'll eventually get back to everything, but you don't know when.

The EMD F7 was not really used for passenger trains until end of the 40ies. Also they had a middle motor car, so one could build very strong units for freight.

But more variety of passenger cars is certainly good.

I will probably make a middle power car then, and probably redo the back engine a bit (it looks off). Maybe also delay the introduction of pax cars until, say, 1948 or something.

Also, not being able to dd constraints to existing vehicles is a bit anoying sometimes.

Though prissi mentioned the powered unit, I think a little more added clarity may be needed. These "motor only" engines were referred to as either "Booster" or "B" units, in order to compliment the "Cab" or "A" units. They look roughly like the post car you created for the set, though I would re-add the roof height and windows from the base game Cab unit. They could be paired with a reverse A-unit, though the most iconic look for these units in my opinion would be their pairing with a single A unit.
