[Suggestion] Grouped Lines

the ability to couple multiple lines of a transport type of a group, I am suggesting this cause it is a lot of headaches and searching after a point in your company where you have expanded the network, you have to scroll through tenths of lines, the correct colour/naming convection helps a little bit, but the line menu is still a clutter and requires deep searching to adjust lines in a specific city(ex searching metro through trains),
this is how it should look like(openTTD example):

you can hide lines that you don't need to interact/edit for a moment, and focus on a city metro,
this will make easier the management of larger interconnected lines on larger maps

Verily I second this suggestion. Always wanted something like that.

This comes since OpenTTD had not lines to start with, and each vehicle had its individual schedule. So they copied it from Simutrans.

If your lines start with the town's name, then you can just filter them by typing that name. (Or does Extended not support this feature?)

This seems like a nice-to-have feature. Naming and sorting lines by adding codes in the beginning (IC or Bus) works, yes, but it's not as neat or organized. And not everyone organizes their lines like that

Probably not something easy to implement, but definitely something to keep in mind when/if the lines window and lines interface is to be revamped
