On the BB server, the ironworks at 2010,1653 have a demand of 1100kW. The town is connected to the grid and there is plenty of current, but no consumption. The same goes for the dairy west of it. The grid flickers, though, going from an impossibly high total demand to zero and back twice a second or so.
