Fictional Map

After some gaming experience, I decided to try a kind of map which is not usual in simutrans: islands. I made my own islands map by merging four real islands into a fictional map. The size is 1024x1024, but I could make smaller (or larger) versions if I'm asked to. I wanted to share it so you can play it if you like:

Ah, that's nice. One of the disappointments I've had with the Simutrans terrain generator is that I can't seem to generate islands well... heh.

That's a pretty cool map - will download. What I think would be neat would be something like that, but maybe even larger, with 30-50 small islands.

Still, that looks pretty darned spiffy, and great to encourage sea or air

If you're stuck for names, I might suggest "Duck Islands" cos top left one reminds me of a wingless, footless duck.

You can use Isaac's suggestion: "Duck Islands" sounds nice

That one is "hand made"... for 30-50 islands it would take me ages!! O_o

lol - well, you know the rule - once someone does something, it's very very easy to write suggestions...

I didn't mean my comment to even be a suggestion, per se.

Don't worry about making one - I was more thinking aloud "I should work on something like this, only more islands"

OK, Duck Islands it is then. From now on on the Simutrans maps site.

Very nice map actually. There are some natural places to place cities. My hands are itching to start a new game with it. No, first finish the current one.
