What is the cost in parentheses?

I know that for vehicles it's the cost per km. But what about for buildings that have no unit attached? Is this just the operational cost per month? That's been my best guess but I can't find any way to prove this theory.

Thanks! Really liking this game.

In case of buildings, I think that's the maintenance cost in credits...

Would that be on a per-month basis?

...and it can change when you change month length. (But you won't probably do that.)

My projects... Tools for messing with Simutrans graphics. Graphic archive - templates and some other stuff for painters. Development logs for most recent information on what is going on. And of course pak128!

You can also directly set the maintenance costs in the simuconf.tab.

# cost for depots
#cost_depot_rail=1000
#cost_depot_road=1300
#cost_depot_ship=2500

This would be the right place to adjust the depot costs. Usually this part of the simuconf.tab is not used - therefore these # signs, if you want to use this you have to remove them.
