hey how can we get a train to deliver a good to a station, then get picked up to go by rail to another station?  For example:

I want steel in town B and C.  One train only goes from A to B, and another train goes from B to C.  How do I get the steel to handoff to another train?  Anyway to share the supply across two towns?

Thanks

Nevermind,  I had a simple factory link issue.  All is good now.

If both trains can take steel and they stop at the same station, it must work. The first train will load the steel out, the other will take it with him ;)

And all 3 stations must be goods-enabled.

I believe only the recipient station needs to be goods-enabled, actually. Have just tested it with 2 passenger platforms (doesn't work), and added a warehouse to the recipient platform (now it does). Although a warehouse is rather more useful where freight will accumulate (ie origin station)!
