Hi, first post here.

I'm using Arch Linux, and Arch didn't provide simutrans package by default. But there is a build system in Arch (http://aur.archlinux.org) that enable user to install/compile unsupported package.

Being an Arch user, if there's a choice between a binary file and a source file, we prefer the source file and compile it in our own computer.  One Arch user provide a build script for fetching and compiling Simutrans 102.2.2 (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=27500) and it worked, but when I run it (in x86_64) there's a file missing: menu.WindowSkin.pak  ???

When I check the source, there's no skin folder or menu.WindowSkin.pak anywhere. I cannot find any download link to download it (did google, forum search, sourceforge search, etc). So for now, to be able to successfully compile and install Simutrans, the work around is to download simutrans source code, compile it THEN download simulinux-102-2-2.zip just to get the menu.WindowSkin.pak file  and add it to my own build.

My request: Can you please add menu.WindowSkin.pak in the source zip or at least provide it in separate package that enable user who compile from source to successfully run their own build without download the binary one? Or is there already a download link for menu.WindowSkin.pak that I didn't know about  ;D ?

Thankyou

prissi

Building it from svn will give you the skin too. Next version will also contain the skin in the distribution, the script has been altered already some time ago. You can also get the skin from older pak64 packages. Or download one from the forum.
