downloads from japan site

I cannot get any of the downloads from the japanese website or the japan downloads on addons to work, except for the road and rail bridges no vehicles are working is any one else having this problem or have i missed something. I am a newbie so may be something really simple.

They may be outdated. I know that roads.pak or something similar doesn't work at all. The trains and buses work for me 99% of the time. How are they not working? Are they not showing up in the depot?

If it's that then you need to make sure they are put into simutrans/pak.

yes they don't show up in the depot even though they are in the pak file. I will have another look. I found some other ones on a fellas personal website and they work. Thanks for the advice though.

sorry for the stupidity i just had them in folders in the pak folder so they were not working. Just had to paste the actual files into the pak folder and they are working.
