Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like - if I may - ask for your attention.

Today we are celebrating the 175th anniversary of the first German train between Nürnberg and Fürth at Frankonia.
It started its duty on 1835-12-07. A nice article at Wikipedia is telling the whole story:

I planned to present some nice things today, but I went ill and now I am several weeks behind my schedule.
So the only thing I can publish today, dedicated to the "Adler", is a first screenshot (jpg, 1150 x 720 px, some 370 kB):

Ladies and Gentlemen, raise your glasses, please! Here's to the first scheduled train in Germany!
Here's to the great British engineer Robert Stephenson, who designed the "Adler".

Thank you, Ladies and Gentlemen.
