I have the elevated ways addon (both for highways and railways). I'm just wondering how can I create elevated ways which are twice the height from the ground, and how can I connect it to normal elevated ways (those w/c are just 1x height from the ground?
Thanks.

you can stack them on top of each other and delete the unneeded ones that are below.

Yes I know that they can be stacked. My problem is this: (see diagram below)

Say I've constructed a two-level elevated way like this seen from the side:

2nd level   ---------------
1st level    --------------------------------
Ground____________________________

I'll then remove the unneeded ones below the 2nd level (only those right below the 2nd level):

2nd level   ---------------
1st level                       -----------------
Ground____________________________

How will I then connect that 2nd level elevated way to the adjacent 1st level elevated way?

Thanks.

Use the 'raise terrain' or 'lower terrain' buttons (not the slopes, but the ones that usually make a flat raised or lowered  tile)... and then you may have to draw a regular road or track across both new tiles to connect them.

Or you can use a bridge, which will connect to the elevated ways...

A bridge is expensive...
