It's in german but don't worry, the 1860's classic Bilder-Atlas zum Conversations-Lexikon: Geschichte der Baukuns is a gift for aesthetic pleasure. The book gathers, in detailed images, a vision of world history of architecture interpreted from nineteenth-century Europe.
