Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Opening of Hong Kong City Hall

The Hong Kong City Hall was officially opened on 2 March 1962 by the Governor of the time. The complex took on the role as Hong Kong's first civic centre, fostered the growth of Hong Kong's performance arts, and also housed the first public library in Hong Kong. It enjoyed a high reputation among the citizens of Hong Kong. It is currently a Grade I Historic Building.

Jardine House was once the tallest building both in Hong Kong and in Asia when it was completed in 1972. Situated at 1 Connaught Place in Central, it is an office building which enjoys the views of the Victoria Harbour without being obscured.
