About multiplaying simutrans

Can someone clearly say me how to setup own simutrans game in online. So I could play it with my friends? I checked one tutorial but I didnt understand it at all. But Im keeping search until I find or someone help me out. Thanks if someone have time for me.

In principle it is easy, but two problems exist. If you are connected to the internet via a router, then you need to know how to forward port 13353. If you do not know how to do this, or what a port is, then setting up a server is not possible.

If you set up the port forward or you are directly connected to the internet (i.e. no WLAN etc. and only one computer can access the net) then you could proceed further:

Make a link to simutrans.exe and put -server into the command line. Load the game you want to play.
Obtain you IP: http://www.whatismyip.com/
Now tell the other players your IP.
Then the other players can connect to you by typing in the IP in the play only box.
