pretty simple.

open up the bridgewater network game under 10.9x and look at any line that uses 'reverse direction'. Only the forward direction stop is shown, while reverse direction is not.

Where can I get a suitable pakset? All 0.8.3 and 0.8.4 I tried including the official link https://github.com/downloads/jamespetts/simutrans-pak128.britain/Pak128.Britain-Ex.zip are denied having ways too many paks  ::( .

There is an issue with the 0.8.4 pakset to do with case sensitivity in Linux meaning that a large number of individual items are falsely detected as being conflicting. The 0.8.4 pakset is the correct one to use, but you will need to connect in a way that overrides the check, by going to the load dialogue and typing: net:bridgewater-brunel.me.uk

I think that somebody else might have been trying to connect at the time, which would mean that the server would not respond. Might I suggest trying again?

Bernd Gabriel

I tried again successfully with current r10.17 and ran out of sync immediately. The game is too large for my computer?
I tried again with r10.9017 and failed.

jamespetts

Hmm, that's odd - I am able to connect without it going out of sync. What are your specifications? Are you sure that you are using the correct pakset?

I have uploaded the latest saved game from the server to here so that you can download it and see the issues with the network map without having to connect to the server. I hope that this helps.

Okay, now I'm ready to look into this issue.

But what is "reverse direction" of lines?
And how can I enter different stops for the "reverse direction"?

@AEO: can you please name an example line? You're "Aeolus Ant Fleet", aren't you?

ӔO

Yes. Any of the ferry lines should be using reverse route.

Bernd Gabriel

Ah, I think I've got it at last: Mirrored schedules must not show the line from the last to the first stop.
