version: 112.3   (most recent stable) pak: Comic 0.3   . Off the server game.

Game crashes on attempting to drag signals for placement.  (I'm playing thisGuy).  Single signal placement works fine, but dragging causes crash to desktop (luckily only on client!).  Not sure if corrupt map, or complexity issue (networks are getting pretty crazy).

Sounds like a familiar bug from some time back. If so, it's been fixed in the nightlies. (Which do at times contain more serious bugs.)

should be fixed already in the nightly builds. To prevent the crash do not drag over tracks with minimum speed sign.
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and maggikraut.

Can confirm that there are speed sign in the network connected to the stretch of track, but not in the section being dragged across.

Sounds like it is likely squashed already.  Looking fwd to next stable.

It happens also when you accidentally drag out of the track, or to the opposite direction of track. The path-search algorithm can hit the far away speed sign in those cases. Anyway I can confirm it has been fixed in nightlies.

What came up back then is that the signal builder (as well as the overhead wires builder) uses the same pathfinder as vehicles, so if you drag against the one-way signals, the signals will be built along the long way around.
