I found the old browser game from Simutrans (is from 2010)

Since screen resolutions were much smaller back then than they are today, the text is quite small. However, you can use the browser zoom to enlarge the display.

How it works:

• top left is the start/stop button
• top right, in red, is the train's braking value
• the goal is to stop the train so that its front end comes to a stop at the right edge of the platform

After stopping, the distance to the platform edge is shown in the red box in the top line. The points achieved are shown in the bottom line.

It would be nice if the train had a speed indicator. I think that way you could better determine when to stop it so it matches the station.
