Hello, I think I may have found a bug. I use Simutrans 102.2.2 stable with the respective stable pak files as specified at the forum download post on Windows 7. If you start a map with trees on it, and then use the slope tools (Not the raise/lower land tools) to raise or lower the land, the trees and other ground objects are raised, lowered, or sloped and not removed, which is the way they were in 102.0. I have tested this in pak.128, pak.64, and pak.german, with the same results. Perhaps this is intentional, but it seems that they should be the same as the raise/lower tools. Thanks.
Why do we park on the driveway and drive on the parkway?

Dwachs

this is intended. You can use the slope tools on way and tunnels too (on the end tile of a way).

Recommendation: Before posting a bug report, try to reproduce the bug in the lasted Nightly Build. Since between the stable release and the latest Nightly Build there's a long time span, it's probable that bug was already solved.

Igor, sorry for not testing this in a recent nightly, I tried it in r4031 and, as Dwachs stated, the behavior still occurs. If it is intentional then I guess there is no need for this, and I know that the slope tools can be used to raise or lower the end of a way and for underground slopes. It just seems a little weird to raise a tile and still have fully grown trees on it.
