Hello

During this time I can not be present in the forum and play simutrans, I managed to use the version for 8 hours "Experimental 9.12", I must say that is great! Stable, fast enough (though dated a computer like mine) and fun.
Truly a great job, I thank all those who worked on the development.

Giuseppe,

I am very glad that Simutrans-Experimental is working well for you. For future reference, may I ask what are the specifications of your computer on which you found that Simutrans-Experimental worked well, and what was the size of map that you used?

Thank you very much for your feedback.

Hi James

The map was 256x256 with 30 cities, with active timeline starting date of 1920.

The characteristics of the PC do not remember, I have to watch at home but I can not any time soon.

I wanted to ask you a question, what is the latest version of makeobj exp? (http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?topic=1894.0)?

Edit:
PC:
CPU: Athlon XP 2200+ (1,8GHz)
RAM: 1Gb
Graphic: NVidia GForce4 420MX

Giuseppe,

thank you for the information about your machine - that is most useful. It seems odd to think that such a specification is considered relatively slow now, but these things move on, I suppose!

As to Makeobj - the latest version released in binary format is the one that came with Experimental 9.9. It is possible to compile a later version from sources, but the only difference between that and the version that came with 9.9 is the correction of the version numbering: it has no effect on its function.
