Wonky town at edge of map

Hello again!

Bug or feature? Funny things can happen when the game places a town near the edge of the map: http://i.imgur.com/Z0AwIO0.jpg

Town has 4004 inhabitants, 4 buildings (I can see only 3) and no place for the poor people other than a bakery and a cemetery. :)

that can happen occasionally when the city fails to add roads that buildings can expand upon.

It usually happens when the road connecting the city hall is boxed in by at least 3 sides.

Although unrelated to this issue (which I suspect is probably not specific to this issue), your screenshot suggests that you are using an out of date version of Experimental: I recommend upgrading to 11.2.

Somewhat related to this, the game seems to love to put attractions and industries at the end of a road rather than on it's side like regular buildings, thus blocking expansion.
Is this unavoidable?

Hmm - I have yet to look into the code for this. It might be possible to change it, but that would be at the bottom of a very long queue of other things to do...

That's exactly the same for Simutrans Standard, so not really an experimental problem.
