Windows open at minimum size. Then one has to enlarge them manually. The window size is then stored and re-applied when opening the window again.

Hmm, but with large font and large buttons, many flowtext windows open so five letters and two lines of text are visible, and the rest is scroll bars and borders. How about open windows with the default width (or larger if needed) from the window settings. It is very practical to have windows with identical width.

If no one objects, I may work on the line management next, to use tabs to halt, convois and statistics.

The window sizes should be save- and loadable, for easy transfer to a new computer. The defaults could just be in one of those files, but any player may use a different, personal "default".
