Industry productivity

I'm starting to think about a plan for balancing pakBritain, but I need to understand one thing first.  With factories, productivity determines the how much stuff is produced/processed per month (correct me if I'm wrong).  Does this increase/decrease if you change bits_per_month in simuconf.tab?  If so, what is the bits_per_month for which the productivity in the dat file is correct for?

The productivity is per ms time; depending of your bit_per_month setting is is either 10^18 µs or 10^21µs ... just make a pak and oberve 4x of the input value => bit_per_month 2 above the default value.
