Road Tools button missing, Train Tools button opens 'Remove Wayobj Track'

Simutrans v121.0 - r8870 (win8.1)

This is known issue with game date exceeding 2999.  I just couldn't really understand what people giving a fix were saying: "opening new world", or, "click settings", which I could not find. 

I did this for PAK (PAK64):
BKP the actual game in Simutrans.
BKP the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Simutrans\pak\config\simuconf.tab" file.
RUN Notepad as Administrator, browse to and open "C:\Program Files (x86)\Simutrans\pak\config\simuconf.tab".
GO to subsection:

This does not work on existing games. For new games there is even a button to switch the timeline of on ther startign screen, saying something like "Use time line" or "Use introduction years" (depending on your language).

Furthermore, copy the simuconf.tab to your documetn directory into the folder SImutrans and edit it there. That way your edits will survive an update.
