It's benchmark data with a large-scale map and all cities are connected by the road.

map overview:

The largest station on this map: Shisuka station.

the north end city: Oha city.

the south end city: Toyohara city.

It is a great idea to provide this as benchmark data for future tests.

For future reference: it requires pak256 version version 2.3.0, right?

Phystam

It is Pak128.Britain-ex data, not pak256.

For some reason I cannot get this save to open. It is not displaying any pakset in the save menu.

Welcome to Simutrans forum, OStockwood-san!
For some reason, the pakset name of save data is not shown. it is a known bug.
You can open it with the proper pakset, anyway.

Welcome to the forum, OStockwood! This save needs Simutrans-Extended and pak128-Britain.Extended. If you have Simutrans-Standard, then we are happy to help you install Extended.

I am on extended and Pak128 Britain, so that shouldn't be the problem. When I try to open it, the save loads to about 75%, then the game crashes and closes.

Phystam

That is weird --- please re-install the latest version of simutrans-extended and pak128.britain-ex, then remove settings-extended.xml in the directory.

OStockwood

Well that worked. Seems to be loading fine now. Thanks for your assistance.
