 Today I present you a series of new city building graphic set for 64 size.
 
 

  Please take time to look at full sized image by right clicking on the image.
  Some buildings are dominant and It is under construction and balancing.
  More new will come later. All of buildings should be in those images.
  Only res/com/ind buildings are of my work.
  I used pak64 as image host and some other addons.
 
  What should we do with these new graphic set?
  Do we make new pak set?
  Make pak64 version2?
  Just keep it as addon?
  What do you think?

  I certainly don't have enough courage to make complete new pak set, one with playable level...

Maybe they can go in standard pak64 as buildings for desert or tropical climate zones.
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and maggikraut.

Look very professional. Well done.

Add them into the existing pak set rather than create a new one? Avoid splitting our small game playing community any further. 

Having them in a height/regional zone..perhaps filling an area weak in standard pak64?... seems like a fine suggestion.

cool! they have a very particular style. what did you use to create them? 3D Modeling software or painting program? Btw, I would create a small pakset called pak64 urban renewal, in example.

Pretty good!

Only one thing: The gradient from dark (bottom)  to light (top) on these bright high rise buildings is a bit too strong IMO. I really like that effect and have used it myself, but it's cooler if you don't recognize immediately that it's a gradient when you look at it. But that'S only my 2 cents.

Please, could you confirm you did not took them from another page? If they are from google sketch depot they are ok. If they are from the Hong Kong city map then they are copyrighted and not ok. (We had a similar incidence in the old forum pak128 section.)

If you cannot confirm the origin, we would need to remove this thread. And I would like to have more variety for pak64 after 200, so this would be great addition to the original pakset. So please confirm copyright and maybe think about introduction dates beyond 2000 that would be great!

Only 3d rendering was used to create common feel to each of them.

Hum, certainly I did image search on google to find real world building as reference but png images and dat files are of my work.
How should I prove my selfe?

I'd say it's enough that you state the work is yours. No further proof needed, although it's nice to have.

Yes, I just want your statement that those are yours. No further proof required. We just had two times troubles last year, so I had to make sure they are yours.

I knew about those instructions.
The thing is that now map rotates. Shadow changes its direction.
If shadow follow what graphic is, I thought it would be more natural to
make it really pale or almost unnoticeable so what direction you look at it all same.
(If there is 4 side graphic above instruction holds)
(but from what I see, why not show always most graphically pleasing side of the building?)
For future ones, I plan to give more subtle shadow. Since currently its too weak.

Oh yes, this would be my long term project.
For now I want to give large collection of building first.

On other hand, new release will come soon. I'm enjoying my self creating cities...

  Regrettably, I'm too laisy to take out only the png and dats....
  Oh and obviously, those building have mostly has reference and not my desing ofcourse.

Yes, I was refering to the png files. On the other hand, there're city buildings (1,2 and 3) but usually people think that vehicles are easier to paint so that's why there're more vehicles than buildings. Anyway, you can create your own personal folder and organize it as you want.

  For atmosphere control, I suggest replace all city bulding pak files.
  Those are rendered so it doesn't match very well with pixel painted ones.

  I know there are some buildings too dominant.
  Currently, I'm trying to learn blender for future projects.

  And if you have any request, please show me. I might work on it...

@colonyan: If you want, I may add them to addons.simutrans.com repository. Do they fit on pak64 official scale for buildings (7px ~ 2m) ?

I never really cared about scale while I was making in July. I just tried to fit the model in to the 1x1.
For upload, yes please. I will reupload the images as well. Thanks!

Some buildings do fit, other not. Beautiful are nearly all of them.
