strange behaviour of start menu

In the beginning the start menu behaves strange in some senses: As long as the start menu is active, certain other controls don't work. For example it is possible to open the options window, but clicking on 'quit' has no effect. Also pressing escape does not close the options window. In my opinion all controls should be disabled until the start menu is closed.

Indeed a bug. All toolbar can be opened too ...
