I am playing pak128.Britain-Ex 0.7 (Simutrans 102.3 Experimental 8.2). When I open the depot dialog to create ship inside a shipyard, it is TOO wide (i.e. it does not fit the screen width), so I have to move it right and left in order to see all ship. It does not become narrower even if I minimize it (that was the same behaviour in 0.6).

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for your report! May I ask - what is your screen resolution? I suspect that this issue is not specific to Simutrans-Experimental, and is caused by the fact that the graphics for ships are very big in Pak128.Britain.

Thank you for the wellcome. The screen resolution is 1400 X 1050. I suspected that it had to do with graphic sizes, I tried with Simutrans standard and it works OK there (still the graphics overlap if you don't size the window quite big).

I just checked and I get this problem too.
1680x1050 on windows xp.

there is no overlap due to the large images in both standard and experimental, but for some reason the experimental window is very wide. Nearly the entire width of my screen.

This problem will be fixed in the next release of Simutrans-Experimental. Thank you for the report!

Hmm - I can't reproduce this, I'm afraid. Can you upload a screenshot?

okay, with some further investigation, what seems to happen is that the depot dialogue will resize to the game screen size when the top left triangle to resize the depot screen is clicked.

When in full screen, it will stay the same size as it would in windowed size, until the top left triangle is clicked. After it is clicked, the depot window will always default to the screen size and can never be shrunken again until the game is windowed and the depot dialogue is closed.

So the depot window can be enlarged, but will only shrink to the game window size and if it's a large screen, it'll remain very large.

Ahh, this is a separate issue to that originally reported, which was that the depot window would be too large to fit the screen when it first opened. I fixed that such that the initial width of the depot window is always a certain amount less than the current screen width. Is something else needed here, do you think?

I think it's nothing more than a convenience issue.
When the depot window uses up the entire screen, you would have to use the line management window to setup any lines, as the depot window will just block everything.

I have further adjusted the parameters now so that it takes a smaller proportion of the screen width and height, so it should work better on smaller screens. Thank you for the feedback!

I usually right-click on depot window header.
