Invisible Builder's Yard

Whilst playing Simutrans Experimental 10.3 with Pak128.Britain-Ex v0.8.2, I noticed that the Builder's Yard is invisible.  It works just as you would expect it to - it accepts goods and generates passengers - but just can't be seen.  (pic InvBuildersYard1.jpg http://simutrans-germany.com/files/upload/InvBuildersYard1.jpg)

After a while it develops a visual glitch similar to the one which used to happen to the Sheep Farm; when you right-click and drag around the Builder's Yard, the surrounding graphics bleed into the square where the yard should be.  (pic InvBuildersYard2.jpg http://simutrans-germany.com/files/upload/InvBuildersYard2.jpg)

Not being a coder I'm afraid I cannot give any suggestion as to why this might be happening.

I am using Windows XP, 32 bit.

Dave,

thank you for your bug report. Can you check Standard with the Standard version of Pak128.Britain to see whether it occurs there? That would help to narrow down the problem.

Hi James,

Have downloaded Pak Britain Standard, started a new game and the Builder's Yard is invisible in standard as well.  Pic here http://simutrans-germany.com/files/upload/InvisibleBuildersYard3.jpg.

I also started a new Experimental game to test if the Builder's Yard is visible when the Public service player adds a new Builder's Yard industry chain.  The result is the following picture http://simutrans-germany.com/files/upload/InvisibleBuildersYard4.jpg.  As you can see the Builder's Yard is invisible on the Build Industries dialog, but is visible on the ground.

Hope this is of some use to you.

As a matter of interest, should all bug reports that can be found in both experimental and standard be posted in the standard forum in the first instance?

Yes, indeed, since Experimental merges in Standard updates, but not vice versa.

Sorry to revisit this old topic, but I've tested the problem with pak128.Britain v1.10 and the problem still exists.

Also still exists in Simutrans Experimental 10.5 with Pak128.Britain-Ex v0.8.3.

Missed this first time round, sorry, and thanks for the bump. Thankfully it was an easy bug to find so I've fixed it already.

111.0.1-5077 with pak128.Britain r713, shows rotation 0 of the Builders Yard with a snow image, and indeed the snowy image incorrectly always appears in all climates for rotation 0.  The other three rotations appear correctly.  You can verify this by switching to public player and opening the factory builder dialogue.

This bug is back again in 1.12.
All rotation 0 summer images have no graphics.
