Currently, private cars spawn on player owned roads. This can cause bus terminals with private gates to become jammed if they are inside the city limits as the private cars will spawn inside.

I tried to reproduce this in standard, but I didn't see it happening, so I'm quite sure it's limited to experimental.

Hmm - is there any reason in principle why private cars ought not spawn on player owned roads?

ӔO

well, it would be strange to have private cars running around inside the loading areas meant for trucks and buses only. It can also cause gridlocks.

Hmm, the problem is that the game can't sensibly decide what is a loading area designed for trucks and 'buses only. Your example here is unusual - most player roads inside cities are ordinary roads for general use. There is not a sensible way of distinguishing this type of road from the unusual setup that you illustrate above.

AEO - You could set only the entry road to be gated, and use do-not-enter signs on the two exits... would that help?

Wonder if preventing citycars from spawning on player-owned road makes sense?

the trouble is, they enter and leave from all directions.

AEO - weeellllll, I guess you need to add an 'exit only' someplace else so the citycars will eventually find it. hehe

ӔO

yeah, for now anyways, I've removed the private gates.
all the roads are moving like molasses anyways, so it doesn't really matter if cars are going where they shouldn't.

on a similar note, cars are packing themselves into diagonals and causing level crossings to get jammed.

Hello

I think the solution is the use of bollbards, but I do not know if the pak128brit covers ...
