Loading the latest game can cause problems if it includes addons.

You could load the demo.sve if the pakset comes with one.

Roboron

"Continue game" is how it is usually labeled in other games.

Have you discarded the idea of joining last online game as well?

ceeac

No, I still want to do both eventually, but I think it is better to finish this patch first and do the other changes separately so it can be submitted in a reasonable amount of time. ;)

I think the idea was to be able to dismiss the window by pressing Escape so this is not really necessary, unless I am missing something?

This is also possible when the save is loaded manually, the button is just a shortcut.

@ceeac

Sorry, I think I had the wrong reference to their patch.

But by default the game is already continued. Even for that pakset, that is the point of that setting in simuconf.tab.

Roboron

This is rotting here, so I have incorporated ceeac's latest patch on r11028.

I have accepted prissi's suggestion of keeping the "New Game" button label on the options dialogue. I figured that with so many changes, that would at least help old players recognize where the option has moved.

I have installed pak64 from the integrated installer, but I am afraid that the name of the scenario that is in the sourceforge files does not match what the new patch is looking for.

pak64 needs to update its config file to point to its scenario tutorial

Yona-TYT

The reason why the directory is called tutorialpak... is because I was working with 3 different paksets "pak64, pak128 and pak192.comic", therefore I think it is a very good idea to adopt the name "tutorial" only. ..but I think that involves changing the name in pak128 and pak192.comic .

That's good to know! So you have to notify @Flemmbrav and @Prissi so they can update their respective configurations.

It seems to me that this should be changed: "tutorial_pak128" to "tutorial"

Fixed in r11033.

Yona-TYT

Can you provide the full list of new parameters?.

In pak192.comic we change the name of the directory to the default value "tutorial" and with this the button works fine

However, is there anything else that the paksets have to adjust parameters for the new banner?

ceeac

No, that is the only one (apart from translations, but that does not affect paksets directly).

Yona-TYT

Well, I guess since there is now a nice button for the tutorial then some paksets maintainers are going to want theirs too.

But so far no one has said anything. :-X

Thanks for spotting, I removed the variable in r1109.
