Chapter 2 tutorial not advancing after starting first bus route

Hi all,

Somewhat long-time player of transit games here, learned about Simutrans recently and wanted to give it a try. I've downloaded the latest version on Steam, 124.1. I understand that this isn't the latest, but I don't see any tutorial bugs referenced in the later patch notes so hopefully this is still a valid issue.

I'm advancing through the tutorial just to get used to the way things work in this game. I'm at the point where I create my first bus route through Cantebury. I believe I've created everything correctly since the game isn't alerting me to any errors. However, no matter how many times I let the bus travel through its schedule, the tutorial step condition ("It takes to the next step when the bus arrives at the first stop on the list.") is not completing, leaving me stuck just before the next step, Step E - Build a Bridge. Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong here?

I don't know the 128 tutorial.

In the 64 tutorial you have to follow the bus at this point, if I remember correctly.



The sequence in the 64 and 128 tutorials should be the same, as far as I know.

Also pak128, but I suspect the texts are not updated in the version of the tutorial he is using.

Thanks for the information everyone! I take it there were indeed some tutorial changes since Steam's current version? Looks like a paragraph about following the vehicle.
