Another tutorial from the archive... link. In addition, you should check the new guides at docs.simutrans.com that include some references about how to build airports.

P.S: The tutorial is in portuguesse but it has many images.

Escala Real...a blog about Simutrans in Spanish...

No one will go to an airport if there's no mean for passengers to get there. Connect some bus/rail lines to the airport. :)
