Train Graphical Bug

One day i was playing around with simutrans when i sent out some trains. But one of them was wierdly compressed from a 16 car train to a 4 car train. It put all of the cars after 4 into where four is, and it looks very wierd. It seems to be fixed by the train turning around, but i try not to do that because with freight trains it looks rather wierd.

This is caused when there is a station / waypoint immediately after the depot (i.e. within the length of the train) it was sent from.  Turning round sorts it out again, as you say...

I actually prefer something like the Haru Ace or the TGV, i was just being lazy that day and didn't feel like putting in any power lines...

Or maybe an Acela Express i downloaded...

I downloaded them from the japanese simutrans site, i had those overpasses and no platforms to use them with....

Acela Express? (I don't know why but I often think it is Accela ...) Where did you downloaded it? Once somewhere it was ... but not running well.

I think it was Simutrans Addons link from Simutrans.com. It was something like US train pack or something close to that. It still works even though it says it might not and it was made for pre 100.xx versions.

The us train pack is interesting but needs to be adapted to current versions of ST.

Yes. At least there are some things what should be corrected. Mainly constraints. For example I did not find engine for Acela. May be it is in other file (US trains) - but it is incomprehensible.

I think it's under electric locomotives. Not passenger trains.

Ouch ... really it is in USSET, not AMTRAK ... under engines. But it is not complete. There is only engine, not cars for it. Tied for Acela engine (HHP8) it is irrelevant, but for Acela Express train cars are really missing because then effect of train unit (similary to all TGVs) is lost.

The train cars are in the passenger trains section. The only thing is that they only go 240km/h. It's a bit weird but it works.
