Great job !.

And to think that the transparency project originally was to improve the smoke and some shadows, this far surpasses the expectations.  :o

It's obviously a joke, I put the Simutrans menu over a screenshot of Anno1503.

Sorry if anyone was actually excited about it xD

Those buildings that are not in basic direction, are very good idea - but not applicable on all paksets, and buildings, of course. Some ones will have to stay in classical direction.

And BTW, this is not first time I see this style. I have already seen this in game Unknown horizons.

Probably because Unknown Horizons is essentially "Open Anno" ;)

Noddy, I really hope you saw it was an april fools joke, and are not actually that excited. I'm good, but not THAT good. (and I don't know whether Simutrans would be that good, either. But that would actually be interesting to try)

May it be. I did not play it (Anno), so ...

And in last times I am very accidental player ... because I am very busy due to my work of orderly in hospital. Also I have problems to at least finish some opened projects done for pak96.comic.

I have a question for you people.
Before I joined the team, all factories were pretty much realistic, with the drawback that they were not immediatly recognized.
I have great fun doing silly themed shapes, like the lego-factory buildt of lego-bricks, and now this.

But do you like this style, or should I rather go back to generic buildings with a logo on one side?

I like that it has crazy buildings, but I don't particularly like this building. It's too yellow.

I prefer a mix myself. I don't want too many silly buildings, but a few are alright. I like this one.

The magnificent mansion must have been here for generations.
You have probably seen it many times before, a vague familiarity overcomes you.
But has it always been here?
Why do you break out in cold sweat when you are near it?
And how comes it compells you to build a bus stop right next to it, as if to... feed it?

This reminds me of a passage from Soul Music by Terry Pratchett, part of the Discworld series, where the protagonists find an ancient music shop - "It was here yesterday, right?" "Of course, it's always been here... hasn't it?" (And of course, it disappears the next day, never to be seen again). :)

It's a beautiful house, love it! And of course the perfect day for posting. :)

After some snowfall in the night, and delayed trains all morning long, the first train of the local narrowgauge service is on time again.

The border between Islong and Waterloo. The border station is served by London Railway (Islong transport company), Waterloo Transport and C-Trans (international transport company)

I had to change the climate because apparently cities don't grow in Mediterranean. Waterloo build a light rail to Southloo!

That is the cleverest way of covering up not knowing how to spell "cemetery" I have ever seen. ;-)
