It's about how to turn a train around, but it's not the most efficient way - it's a silly joke.

But stuff like that would be fun to deal with in Simutrans.

I mean, I think it's better that trains do turn themselves around since a tile is also 1km¹.... but still, this would be fun to model as well :)

Changed check for player building (halt, harbour and extension) selected.
The inspection is now taking place before construction begins.
Please check this.


Known bugs:

When Chapter 5 Step D is loaded from save, the fields for building Post (halt, extension) are not highlighted in red.


Simutrans r11875 required

  • extract to simutrans/pak/scenario/
  • start simutrans (latest revision, better latest nightly)
  • open load scenario
  • select scenario tutorial_multipak

For pak64.german and pak128 change the data in set_data.nut.

I don't get along well with diagrams, and this one in particular is incomprehensible to me. I usually analyze the code, look for functional parts that relate to what I need, and do tests and experiments until I get the expected result.

I requested this.

Since I'm using the tooltip translation text in Scenario Chapter 2 Step H, I also need the %i value.

And since the parameter is located in simuconf.tab, it's also possible that it has been changed. This would mean that, with a fixed number, the text would no longer match the in-game display.

My goal is to use as much of the existing text as possible. And the labels for the tools and tooltips, in particular, should match the text in the tutorial.

Care to elaborate why? That setting is only relevant for network games which are not really scripted (so far).
